No. Messages are encrypted on your phone, and only the person you send them to can decrypt them. Our servers hold encrypted data and have no way to open it.
The message leaves the chat on both phones. Expired messages and their attachments are then removed from our servers on a regular sweep. They cannot be recovered.
No. You sign in with your email. People find you by your six-digit ID, and you add people one ID at a time.

In the app, open Settings and choose Delete account. Your profile, chats, calls and contacts are removed from our servers and this cannot be undone. Billing records may be kept for support and disputes.
